Background
In October 2025, the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency was commissioned by the government to produce a brochure to increase awareness among businesses of how they can strengthen their own preparedness for crises and war. In January 2026, the newly formed Swedish Civil Defence and Resilience Agency will send out Preparedness for businesses – In case of crisis or war.
The brochure for businesses complements the brochure In case of crisis or war, which was sent to the general public in 2024.
Providing information to the public and businesses is part of the Swedish Civil Defence and Resilience Agencys mission to promote consistent information about accident prevention, crisis preparedness and total defence.
