About EU cooperation
Swedish Civil Defence and Resilience Agency is actively participating in the EU’s civil protection cooperation, both on a strategic and operational level.
For example, we are the point of contact for the European Union Civil Protection Mechanism (UCPM) and is active in many policy areas such as Critical Entities’ Resilience, Network and Information Security (NIS), Cyber Security, Space, Environmental risks, CBRNE and transport of dangerous goods.
In addition, the agency is contact point for the deployment of Hybrid Rapid Response Teams (HRRT).
The work includes both providing expertise in different policy areas as well as carrying out operational actions.
