The selection process

Once the application period for a roster announcement has closed, we initiate a selection process. Applicants who best match the stated requirements will be invited for an interview. Following the interview, we will contact the referees that the applicant has listed. Based on the overall assessment, we determine which individuals best meet the criteria outlined in the announcement. These individuals are then registered in our Field Staff Roster and may be considered for future missions.

As registered on the roster

Once you are registered on our Field Staff roster, you are required to complete our mandatory Induction Course to be eligible for missions. In addition to the induction course, you may also be invited to participate in additional trainings and exercises.

Training and exercises for those registered on the Field Staff Roster

Once you are registered on our Field Staff roster, our HR-Officers will contact you when we receive a request that matches your profile. The frequency of these interest inquiries depends on the type of support requested by our partner organisations and whether your qualifications align with their needs.

To be eligible for a mission, you need to respond to the interest inquiries sent to you, usually via MyPages. If you indicate that you are interested and available in a specific request, you will enter a selection process that is conducted by us and, in some cases, by the partner organisation. If you are accepted, the preparations for a deployment will begin.
